16th Annual “Vietnam Veterans Memorial” Golf Tournament 
Join American Legion Post 295 on September 19th, 2014 at the Montgomery Village Golf Club in Montgomery Village, MD.

 

Shotgun start at 8:15 am followed by an awards luncheon with lunch provided by Mamma Lucia's
Montgomery Village Golf Club 

MVGC is an Edmund Ault designed course and is one of the best kept secretsin Montgomery County golf since 1968.

 

The 6,700 yard par 71 course offers both changeling holes and a fair share of opportunities to score well.


MVGC has gone through some changes in the past years, switching to a new bermuda-hybrid grass and creating some new tee boxes, while the fast and smooth greens have remained the staple of the course.


In the past years MVGC has hosted several PGA sanctioned events such as the Maryland Open Qualifier, Mary-land amateur Qualifier, MAPGA Pro-am, and MAPGA Titleist tour events.

Tournament Details


  • Start Time: 8:15

 

  • Tournament format is Best Ball - Scramble Start

  • Tournament Cost: $85 per person*

    • Lunch is prepared at the course by Mamma Lucia's of Montgomery County

    • Registrations should be received No Later Than, Sep 10, 2013. This allows time for foursome assignments.

    • Registrations after Sept 10th may not receive a T-Shirt

    • Checks should be made payable to American Legion Post 295

  • Cost Includes: Greens Fees, Cart, Lunch, Door Prizes, T-Shirt

  • Check for $85 from each player or $340 a four-some
